CenterBeam CEO, Kevin Francis, Delivers Keynote at Canada's Most Exclusive IT Conference
Francis Shares Leadership Insights with Canada’s Top 100 Technology CEOs
SAN JOSE, CA
- February 1, 2005
Kevin Francis, CenterBeam president and chief executive officer, will speak before Canada’s top 100 technology CEOs at the 2005 AceTech conference this March.
The AceTech conference is a three-day symposium organized by technology company CEOs exclusively for technology CEOs who want to improve their effectiveness in the leadership of their companies. It is a development experience focused on the challenges particular to technology companies and an opportunity to interact with CEOs who have built successful technology enterprises. Attendance is limited to 100 CEOs to ensure an interactive and stimulating environment conducive to networking and peer mentoring. The 2005 conference is the thirteenth AceTech has sponsored.
Strategy Mapping: The Coordinates of Success
Francis’ presentation is entitled Strategy Mapping: The Coordinates of Success and is based on his thirty years of business success. At CenterBeam, as he has at previous companies he has led, Francis has applied a management tool called “Strategy Maps.” Strategy Maps help a company reach consensus on its goals, focus on the strategies it will use to reach those goals, and drive the tactics that support the strategies. In his presentation, Francis will explain how Strategy Maps work through a demonstration of the actual Strategy Maps he is currently using to manage CenterBeam to success.
Kevin Francis has led companies of all sizes to success — public and private, national and international. Most recently at CenterBeam he has implemented a total quality process throughout the company that has resulted in increasing customer satisfaction to 98%. He also scaled CenterBeam’s operations to deal with its explosive growth, opening a technology operations center in Saint John, New Brunswick, to serve CenterBeam’s quickly growing client base. And Francis re-invented the industry-standard terms of the multi-year outsourcing contract to one simple, month-to-month agreement with a Total Satisfaction Guarantee.
