06/09/2010
The honors keep rolling in for Vexira Antivirus.
Yesterday, the award-winning security solution was selected as a Virus Bulletin's VB100 award recipient on Microsoft Windows 2008 server, adding the second VB100 accolade for the desktop security company in three months.
"We are honored that Vexira Antivirus continues to be positioned among the leading security products in the world," said Keith Peer, CEO of Central Command - the parent company of Vexira antivirus products.
The Virus Bulletin is one of the most acclaimed antivirus testing and certification organizations in the world. As a VB 100 recipient, Vexira Antivirus generated zero false positives when scanning clean files using its default settings, and displayed that it could detect all "In-the-Wild" viruses both on-demand and on-access scanning.
The Ohio-based company was also awarded Virus Bulletin's VB100 award on Windows XP SP3 in April. Company's will often look for the VB100 logo on a security company's website as a validation of their credentials. Past award winners include Avira and eScan 2003.
