Lionbridge Technologies, a provider of translation and language testing solutions with headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts, recently announced the completion and release of Translation Workspace, a SaaS translation productivity application.

The program can be purchased on immediately, Lionbridge's ecommerce platform. Like most SaaS vendors, Lionbridge will allow users to pay the service as needed, which will likely make it an attractive option for small- and medium-sized enterprise use.

"Traditional on-premise translation software has provided value for many organizations but it has reached its end of life," Rory Cowan, Lionbridge CEO, said. "Organizations need a flexible solution that is designed and architected to take advantage of today's community-enabled web platform. With our innovative SaaS-based technology and flexible subscription model, we are reducing the cost and complexity of translation productivity tools."

More than 10,000 companies worldwide use Lionbridge translation software, and Translation Workspace has already received positive feedback from clients that have enjoyed its flexibility.

Lionbridge's Translation Workspace is the second major announcement that the company has made in the last week. On April 23, it announced a partnership with IBM to improve the availability of fast and reliable online translation services to enterprise.ADNFCR-2553-ID-19744633-ADNFCR
