Plateau, a leading provider of SaaS talent management applications, recently reported that the demand for a less expensive way for companies to manage employees led to its largest yearly growth ever. In 2009, the company added more than 2.5 million new users and maintained its 95 percent subscription renewal rate.

Several large companies saw Plateau as the best option for them to improve their employee and payroll management processes while saving money; Plateau's new clients include Bank of America and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The United States Air Force and General Electric are also among Plateau's largest clients.

"In 2009, there was a clear and direct correlation between the growth in our SaaS business and the increase in customers deploying multiple modules of Plateau's talent management suite to facilitate career and succession planning, compensation planning and performance management as well as formal and informal learning," Paul Sparta, CEO of Plateau Systems, said.

Plateau's growth is not exclusive to its product or even its industry. Gartner recently reported that 95 percent of companies currently using SaaS plan to continue their use or increase it as products become more reliable and versatile.ADNFCR-2553-ID-19753387-ADNFCR
