A unique upcoming event aims to gather international leaders of the cloud computing revolution under one roof.

Cloudstock, organized by cloud computing company Salesforce.com, will be held on December 6 in San Francisco and is set to be attended by leading cloud developers hoping to share innovations and learn from one another.

Many leading cloud computing companies have announced they will attend Cloudstock. In addition to Salesforce.com, representatives will be present from Google, Amazon, PayPal, Yahoo and others.

The event will include more than 60 sessions, as well as demonstrations and opportunities for networking. A "Cloudstock Hackathon" is also being organized as a feature event.

Salesforce.com has announced registration for Cloudstock has already reached capacity.

George Hu, executive vice president for platform, marketing and alliances at Salesforce.com, expressed excitement about the event. "This cloud computing 'Woodstock' will give developers a means to collaborate with one another, unleash their creativity, and learn more about Force.com, Amazon Web Services, Google AppEngine, and a wide range of other leading cloud technologies, all in one place," he said.

Cloudstock is being held alongside Salesforce.com's annual user and developer converence, Dreamforce. Dreamforce 2010 is being held from December 6 to 9 and will be open to participants in Cloudstock.
