The Green Unbreakable Cloud Initiative is looking to make an impact on green IT with cloud computing, and CloudPro's Jennifer Scott said it appears to be working thus far.
GUCI, run by Incubaid, said it is looking to hire more staff. The company is run by data center experts and has eight member companies, and the news source said it offers green, highly available IT solutions. GUCI initially had 30 people over six countries, but is now looking to grow by 40 employees from the technical, legal and business background.
“For the last few years, we have been building the tools and now it is time to take these technologies and create complete platforms that allow us to deliver IT like a utility to anybody and anywhere while ensuring it is as green and efficient as humanly possible," Sylvie Verbankc, head of recruiting for GUCI, said according to CloudPro. "For this task, we need people that share our vision."
Recently, Verne Global, sponsor of the Green Data Center News, announced the have created the first 100 percent renewable powered data center, which could be a big step forward for green IT cloud computing's impact on the environment.
