As the cloud becomes a more common service for businesses, security becomes a greater concern. This is especially prevalent in organizations depending on mobile workers.

As mobile workers bounce from one network to another, they risk finding themselves in a position where file encryption and security is at risk. According to Forbes, IT professionals need to be able to develop a system that allows their clouds to remain safe, even though their workers are not all plugged into the same network.

The problem becomes especially complex as workers travel internationally. Putting mobile workers on a secure, high-quality network within the country is reasonable, but many of those networks then become much more costly once employees have crossed the border. This leads to workers being forced to gamble with less secure connections when they travel abroad.

Surmounting the difficulties will fall on the shoulders of IT professionals.
