CenterBeam Enterprise Cloud Solution Delivers Significant Differentiators over Microsoft® Office 365

SAN JOSE, CA - 10/24/2011

CenterBeam Inc., a pioneer in delivering hosted IT services, today announced the launch of its CenterBeam 365+™ Reseller Program. The collaboration suite offers VARs and Resellers several key advantages over Microsoft® Office 365 for managed services providers seeking to reach new customer segments and grow revenue. The program also enables resellers to maintain account control, including the ability to direct bill their clients.

Compared to Microsoft Office 365, which is a consumer class solution for hosted collaboration, CenterBeam 365+ enables enterprises to integrate their infrastructure, delivering the features and functionality of an on-premise solution in the cloud. As a major implementation benefit, CenterBeam 365+ does not require enterprises to undertake costly software upgrades or purchase and maintain servers to retain certain functionalities. For example, CenterBeam 365+ continues to support PST files, so enterprises do not have to upgrade/implement SharePoint; it supports Outlook 2003, eliminating the requirement to upgrade to Outlook 2010; and it offers Real Single Sign-on™ for any version of Activity Directory without the need for ADFS 2.0.
