The series kickoff features Shahin Pirooz, CenterBeam’s Chief Security & Technology Officer. While cloud terminology is new, the technology is not. Mr. Pirooz has been at the forefront of cloud technology for more than a decade, throughout the evolution from ASP to managed services to what is now commonly known as cloud computing, and provides practical insights for business leaders looking to leverage the cost, time and resource benefits of the cloud.

“There are a lot of misunderstandings in the market  when it comes to cloud computing, especially regarding security. While there are valid questions about ‘will my data be safe in the cloud,’ and ‘should I trust it in somebody else’s datacenter,’ I think the underlying issue is business leaders don’t know what to ask or what to focus their questions on when speaking to a cloud provider,” says Pirooz. “The video series content was developed from frequently asked questions I answer for our customers and prospects.”
